About Me
I am a painter and jewelry designer from L.A. For my jewelry collection I use leather, both new and vintage, as part of my medium for handmade earrings, necklaces and scarves. I combine 14kt gold and sterling silver with the leather to create mostly one of a kind pieces. Some of my designs are inspired by music and styles from other eras. Many have a rock "n" roll vibe. Others are more classic and are reminiscent of organic forms in nature. You can find my line of "Rachel Jane Jewelry" at Aero and Co. on Third street in West Hollywood. I am inspired by sunlight and shadows, trees, leaves, birds, love, tears, lush overgrown gardens, my family, my friends, extraordinarily simple things, strong tea, asymmetry, MUSIC!!! oh so much more...
