Find out who you are; then do it on purpose. - Dolly Parton

About Me

I am a Bostonian forever and always. I love the Patriots. I love to cook. I hate to date and I sometimes wonder, if I hate to date then how am I gonna meet that special someone? My mom is like my sister and I probably would not have done half of the things I have without her encouragement. My father gives me a newfound rejuvination to life. My friends are my life and I have some of the best. I am very structured but you can see me do alot of things on a wimb. I am an only child but I am not bratty. I am very sarcastic but in a good way. I am also serious in a good way too. I have a big mouth so when I am quiet be cautious. I love to work. Dancing and singing make me smile. NY gives me a rush. There is alot more "about me" to be discovered, I am still discovering myself.
I currently reside in Brooklyn NY and work as a Contract Coordinator/SVP Assistant for Sony BMG Records A&R Administration/Business Affairs Dept.

My Interests

MUSIC, art and human-beings interest me the most. I love to aimlessly roam the streets in major cities i travel too and find myself at peace within crowds of people, loud noise and pure physical khaos. Feeling microscopic when I enter heaps of mountains or cut through streets lined with ginormous skyscrapers for some reason puts some perspective in my life.

I envy street performers and worship the smile they give you when they see that you really love what they are performing.

Basically, I am a little bit country and alot urban, I am a little outdoorsy and alot city so there is alot that I am interested in! Present me with something and only time will tell....

I'd like to meet:

Who would I like to meet?

Diverse, down to earth, open-minded and motivated people ready to make some moves.

And the "hollywood power couple" - I would love to interview them on love, communication and success in and out of work.

Music:

I love anything from old school country to nu skool breaks! Hip hop old skool and mainly underground is the love of my life and R&B is my lust. Deep house and drum n' bass serve a great passion to my ears as well. And there is always room for some punk and funk. As a singer I feel that all music is and should be respected. Some of my favorite artists are Atmosphere, Slick Rick, Patsy Cline, Billie Holiday, Masters At Work, Julius Papp, Feelgood, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, RJD2, Cannibal Ox, EL P, Marvin Gaye, Akrobatik, James Brown, Beastie Boys, Salt N Pepa, Lifesavas, Murs, Alicia Keys, Wax Poetic, Derrick Carter, Carl Cox, DJ Dayhota, nirvana, Cat Power, Third Eye Blind, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Peanutbutter Wolf, Mystic, Living Legends, Emiliana Torini, Ani Difranco, The Breeders, Gorillaz, KC and The Sunshine Band, Metric, Veruca Salt, Old metal hairbands, Hangar 18, Paul Johnson, MXPX, Rancid, The Ramones, DJ Shadow, The Clash, Z Trip and Radar, Prince Paul, B52s, REM, Darryl Hall and John Oates, Police, SADE, SADE, SADE, and many many many more with always a love for my local artists in Seattle (AZ 1, Decca, Phokis, Tizzer, MC Sage Nomad, Bumblebee, Hideki, Kamui, Cancer Rising, Biznautics, GraySkul, DJ Scene, Boom Bap Project to name a few) and Beantown (DJ Knolagy,Drama, Sergio, Carlos, Red Bedford, DJ Spore, DC, Mike Walsh, Shed Light, Tony Demarco, K.C.) . There are so many more that I could list but I am sure whoever is reading gets the jist of it.

Movies:

Dazed and Confused, The Crime of Pedro Amaro, Requiem for a Dream, The Basketball Diaries, Anything by John Hughes and John Waters, Wild Style, Dark Days, Beat Street, City of God, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Blood in Blood out, Wicker Park, Electric Bugaloo, Erin Brockovich, Schindler's List, Sexy Beast, The Beach all movies done with Parker Posie (especially Best in Show&Party Girl) and sad to say but Can't Buy Me love and Dirty Dancing the romance guide to a little girl growing up in the 80's

Television:

T.V rots your brain turn on your damn stereo, or better yet read a book suckers!!!

The imagination can take you to great places try using it for once!

Books:

The Nostradamus prophecies, The outsiders, Go Ask Alice, Mein Kampf, The Happy Hooker, As Nature Made Him, Born on a rotten day, Life and Def, Time out Magazine, Of Mice and Men, The Female Brain, The Mastery of Love and my own personal natal chart.

Heroes:

Bettie Page for her brave and enticing sexuality, Martin Luther King Jr. for always having a voice, Andy warhol and his many creations, My girlfriends for representing their love, trust and loyalty to me, my mom and my aunt for unconditional support, the men who have broke my heart and made me stronger, and last but not least music for I would die without it!!!
