Meant to inherit the Earth, brought into Heaven's trial run by a beautiful Phillippine women on the first month of the first year before the 80's. Originally going to be named Joe, but as creativity began to take over, it evolved. Since I was my mom's 1st "baby", I was known as JoeBaby, then finally Joebie. The child of an unlucky Father that never got to see his baby's 1st birthday due to violence. As he watches down upon me I realize I am a lucky son turned into a lucky Father of a beautiful 4 year old daughter named Daylani Kalayaan Ballena. Kalayaan means freedom which her Lola(grandma) struggled to get before giving birth to ME, the first american born child out of the whole family. I hope to one day repay my mother's hard knock efforts by supporting her and my whole family overseas.
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there. You spot this when you lock eyes like you've seen each other before. They are there for a reason only god can explain Either to teach you a lesson, serve some sort of purpose, or help figure out whom you are or who you want to become. You know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way and sometimes things happen to you at a time where things may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would never realize your potential, strength, will power or heart. The successes and failures that you experience will help create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from to make you a smarter and wiser person. This is the only way to become successful in your life. Your bad experiences are in fact the most detrimental and important ones you can witness. This creates a blueprint of what you will become. If someone betrays you, hurts you, or hates on you, learn to turn from revenge and forgive and thank them for in essence they have helped you understand life, strength, morals, virtues, and the importance of being careful of who you can trust. Don't take for granted of the real ones that show you love, for they are giving you a vision of little things that you may not take notice until later on in your life. Show those ones love right back!I'm blessed to have seen the vision that most people will never see. Like it or not, the only way to be financially free is to have money work for you, not you working for money. Own your own business. Build assets that will create residual income for generations to come. Being able to do what you want whenever you want is the true definition of freedom! Can you do that working a Job? Obviously not. Thus leading to what matters the most, spending time with family and your real friends.
I have been blessed to still be here to spend time and watch my family grow. I live to teach my daughter and future kids the lessons I have learned from making those mistakes myself. Sometimes I take my life for granted and I am ashamed that I have. I have to realize how blessed we are to be living in the United States the land of opportunity. Out of all people I should know this, for I am the first of my family to be born in the United States. The rest of my family is in the Phillippines. And they are hardcore struggling, It is no joke. My Uncles and Aunt has passed away because of poverty and the lack of proper medicare. My mom is my hero for the sacrafices she has made to make sure I was put in the best position to have a healthy and successful life.
