div style="width:480px; text-align: center;"Q Minus is one of the most evolving artists coming out to date. Ever since his conception Q has been about music. Although music did not come first, Q served 6 years in the United States Air Force achieving the rank of E-5 in a relatively short 6 year span. Raised in Seattle WA, In 2001 he found his place in music. Hooking up with his first and only group Ghostz In Da Shell, Q set out to make a statement. But, since at that time being sationed in Anchorage Alaska, his exposure wasnt nearly at its peak. Q Minus made close 50 songs between 2001 and 2004 using only a 10 dollar microphone from Wal Mart and a bootleg recording program. But by doing that gave him the motivation to learn how to engineer and mix songs and apply that to his own recordings. Q Minus' first big break came when he moved to Tx. He hooked up with "Ackin' Bad Ent." just days after moving and had 3 feature songs on their first CD. Even though Ackin Bad Ent. gave Q Minus the exposure to break out in tx, Q was still looking towards bigger things. Between 2004-2006 Q Minus recorded instant classics including "Slow It Down", "Time & Place" feat. SWP, and "Me & U" (on SWP's debut album). In December of 2006 Q Minus moved to the DMV (D.C./Maryland/Virginia). After recording his instant classic mixtape "Billion Gates Vol. 1", he sold via internet (MYSPACE, GARAGEBAND) over 10,000 copies. The DMV would prove to show Q more love than he would have ever expected. He soon hooked up with Star Trak recording artist Fam-Lay who layed out a track and showed him a few ins and outs in the "game". Q Minus went on to record another classic album "Man Behind The Music EP" which featured not only him but also members from his newly established record group "MonStarz Inc" as well as fam-lay nad finally displayed not only his lyrical ability but his singing skills as well. the summer/fall of 2007 Q met up with local celebrity David Chaney ( D.C. [Ricardo Lee Ent]) A well established brotherhood was formed from then on........ PRESENT DAY: Q Minus has worked with many artists from super underground to mtv trl regulars.
