Elijah Johnson (aka,"Lil ElijahJ"), is a 10 yr old, True Triple Threat entertainer from Detroit, MI.
At an early age Elijah has won numurous talent showcases festivals around the country. Elijah has also been casted by numerous commercials, gospel stage plays & film projects. Elijah's vocal range & stage presence allows him to bring to life live performances of old school Jackson 5 hits such as:
"I want you back", "I'll Be There", "All I Do Is Think Of You",
& the fan favorite "Dancing Machine".
Elijah also covers Stevie Wonders, "I Wish Those Days Would Come Back" & Tevin Cambell's
"Tomorrow Will Be".
Elijah recently auditioned with Disneys Broadway musical production, "The Lion King" & will star in the role of "Young Simba". Elijah was selected amoungst some of the most talented kids from around the U.S. to be finalist for the role. Elijah will be casted for the Broadway engagement for the Las Vegas show @ The Mandalay Bay Casino & Resort.Lil ElijahJ has also performed in Atlanta, Ga. @ the prestigious "Sweet Auburn Music Festival"; He performed in Chicago @ the All Stars project (http://www.allstars.org );
Lil ElijahJ performed his first full concert 2 sets, (7 songs). He did very well & got rave reviews for his performances during the Chicago Taste Festival concerts.
He performed in in Birmingham, Mi. @ the Common ground Sanctuary for abused women & children; He competed in Belleville, MI. @ the National Strawberry Idol contest and won 1st place honors; Elijah was also invited to perform @ the "Best New Talent" talent competion in Los Angels, Ca.; In 2007 Elijah auditioned & was selected in a singing role for the Detroit themed movie, "A Diamond in the Rough", Catwalk films; & will be competed on June 9th.
Lil ElijahJ Won the Metropolitan Detroit Youth Idol Contest 1st Place. He then performed two songs in the winners showcase in front of 30,000 kids!!
