As talent, I'm a writer, dancer, singer, actress, director, producer, editor, radio show host, model, assistant gallery director, artist rep, etc. I've been in show biz since I was four. Started piano then; on TV a half a dozen times between ages 7 and 9. At 9 I began dancing ballet, tap, toe; in high school I started modern, and in college I did African and other ethnic styles. In Paris I studied Indian dance with Savitri Nair, Indian vocals with Laxmi Tewari, and Balinese music at Sonoma State. My goal as a choreographer is to weave the repertoire of human movement as language for the soul. After an injury, I began a Goddess TV show called, Radiance thru Dance Meditation, which brought me alot of fan mail.
Songwriting for me began at an early age and I was later delighted to be in a stable of lyricists & songwriters for Narada Michael Walden, a five-time grammy-winning producer who showed me a bit about the top tier of the entertainment industry. I also produced a promo video for his Angel, Moon, & Stars song. I have hosted two radio shows: one, a daily show in Montpellier, France, translating British & American lyrics; the other was another daily Meditation Music show in the SF Bay Area. One year I was a Brazilian dancer for the Super Bowl in SF for the 49ers. Having done six Burning Man events, as Lead Dancer with Fantuzzi as we led the parade to the burn, as a Muse in the film, Water Woman, as a Goddess Healer, as a Lounge Singer, each year I sought out more and more creative expression. I've also taught music for California Music Studios in San Diego; and was invited as one of the up and coming artists by A&R mogul, Tim Sweeney, to his Music Strategies Conferences on a couple occasions. I also coach other performers & speakers with voice & stage presence, as well as navigating the entertainment industry in its rapidly changing landscape.
In the Film/Video/TV arena, I have produced a variety of 30m - 2hr videos, self-help, entertainment, and documentary style, including a "blendo layer" for Billy Idol's Cyber tour with Brett Leonard [ Lawn Mower Man's & Virtuosity] and the whole Bonus Tribe. Boy, those were the best days -- creative synergy! Pushing the edge of creative minds! I'm currently in development with a couple screenplays.
Very entertaining for me has been participating in six Burning Man events: the first time I was asked to be lead dancer for the parade to the Burn with Fantuzzi, other times I was in a film, Water Woman, a Lounge singer, a Goddess Healer, and other creative identities. I love being an artist and want the world to know, we must celebrate artists everywhere!
