Tom Brooks

Hi I'm Tom! I began to play guitar when I was 17 (about 20 yrs ago) and within a few months started to write my own songs. At the outset I learnt to play guitar to accompany my voice; I studied fingerpicking styles and strumming patterns of folk singers.The songs that I feature have been chosen from various points in my songwriting. These songs were left in the dark gathering dust for a while and this is the first time some of them have seen the light of day. If you like them please let me know. I am currently writing new songs after a long break. I have spent a lot of this time appearing in musicals, pantomimes and plays, in supporting and leading roles, with a number of drama groups, singing in a male voice choir and singing as member of the duo 'Them2'. Recently I felt the need to revisit my songs and begin to write again. When I get a few more songs finished I will submit them. Watch this space and tell me if you enjoy my music.
