FANG BANG began as a weekend hobby for then 15-year-old Darby Way, who would cover Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister, and Wednesday 13 songs in the small venues around his home in Sandusky, Ohio. However, after the initial pressing of his demo tape, Welcome to Bang City sold out, Darby began to write his own material and began looking for a full-time band.
On a trip to Dallas, Darby met Busy-B, and the two found similar interests in hair bands and all things 80's. Darby invited Busy-B into FANG BANG as a bassist, and the pair quickly recorded several demo songs in his bedroom.
Described by critics as 'the coolest thing I've ever seen' and also 'shocking, abrasive, and downright dangerous,' Darby has once again locked himself in his Austin, Texas apartment to polish off a next recording.
