This song was played on a loop throughout the performance through a shitty microcassette as Yasmine attempted to bathe.

The goal was to take something that ultimately represents relaxation and completely strip all of that away from it... in order to show the effects of circumstance on an action.
This bath was not relaxing. It was everything but.
By placing the bath in Yasmine's own bath tub- the intimacy proved to add to the effects of vulnerability and certain stages of panic for her as well as the observer.
This bath was not safe.
The performance was filmed and will be presented as a series by Yasmine in the Fall of 2008 at Parsons School of Design in New York where she was invited to be a guest lecturer of Performance.
