A BRIEF EGO-HISTORY
Bernhard Murauer, born 30.05. 1970 in Graz, Austria, still living there.
Studied Philosophy and Religious Studies at University of Graz and the University College of Galway, Ireland and finished my studies in 1998. Started a "career" as a writer/lyricist at the end of the 80s. In favour of creating music I minimized my output of poetry in 2002, but founded (together with A. Schloyer) a T-Shirt Design Label named Muswerk using parts of my poetry in creating designs based on textual fragments in 2005 (cancelled the same year).
From 2006 - early 2008 part of the Techno-Duo Bumm Bumm Boys (together with Christoph Marek) localy known for their excessive live-shows, DJ-Sets. After realizing that producing dance-music has not been the fun supposed to be and being too tired for doing DJ-Sets at 4 o..clock in the morning the Bumm Bumm Boys broke up.
As Mäander Ambiente I returned to my "old love" composing and creating experimental freestyle music dedicated to the genres Ambient, Avant-Anti-Rock and Freestyle Chamber Music.
