Advance has been developing and fine tuning his music style for over 10 years. A metal head at heart, electronic music came to his attention in his late high school years. Since then he has devoted every spare minute to making, playing and listening to his favourite styles. The underground Hardcore scene in Brisbane was his stomping ground for many years, playing gigs under the alias of "Flashpoint" alongside some of Holland's biggest names in Hardcore music including Evil Activities, Tha Playah, Buzz Fuzz and more recently Ophidian & DJ Ruffneck.Advance's decision to start producing came as a natural progression from DJ-ing. More melodic genre's like Trance had always been of interest to him so producing these styles was all about broadening his horizons and skills. Since beginning to take this hobby seriously, he has established quite a collection of professional studio gear to put him well on the path to producing some very high quality sounds. His first release came on Dektek Records in Early May 2008. Originally a muck around track called "Auchenflower Tranquility", Advance remastered this into the melodic masterpiece "Sun Shower" (Now Available).There seems to be no stopping in sight now for Advance. Some new inspiration and a high quality studio to work with will see many more uplifting and melodic floorfillers being pumped out of his home studio. Advance is hoping to release some more tracks in the coming months, so watch this space!!!
