Revenant is formed half way through the year 2003 with the following line-up: Che (Drums), Mondongo (Guitar), Siniestro (Guitar). A couple of months later, Quik (Vocals) and Cesar (Bass) get into the band, getting together the first complete line-up of the band, and that will not last long due to the separation of Mondongo for unknown reasons. But the rest of them decide to continue the project and create new material, having their first gig, by the name of Revenant, in Pachuca, Mexico. With nothing major in that year, in September, 2004, MonS (Guitar) joins the band to fill the place Mondongo left. With a full line-up again, Revenant concentrate all their efforts in some gigs all around Mexico City in very poor conditions. But due to an oportunity to send their material to a contest in record label in Boston, Massachussets, called Heavy Rotation Records, Revenant decides to record their first Demo album. Consecuently, all the band locks up in a garage for quite a few months to finish it. Unfortunately, during the process of recording, Quik leaves the band without one single vocal recorded yet. The decision: Record all the vocals themselves. That's how they adventure ina quest to finish the album. A lot of precarius, trashed, broken down gear, and a couple hundred thousand beers, finally, a stormy March 23rd, the first self-titled demo album gets finished. The albums receives excellent reviews and critiques by many people, including Heavy Rotation. Unfortunately, the economic conditions of Heavy Rotation and Revenant and a lot of visa-related issues, the negociations were postponed indefinetly. On September 2005 after a long empty-handed search, MonS takes place temporarily in the vocals, until the useless efforts to find a new singer that fitted the band, drove him to take that place for good. On July 2007, Revenant launches what is their new and latest material, called "Second Hour" with a twist, composition wise, but still being faithfull to their sound, receiving very good reviws. After the launch of Second Hour, Revenant will keep struggling to take their music all over the country and all over the world, or die trying.
