Kyle is a drummer who has grown up in the Chicago land area all of his life. He began playing drums at the age of four and since then he has continued to grow in his musicianship as a drummer. During the course of his school years he has played several instruments including the saxophone,trombone and piano. Although he found much entertainment playing the trombone, sending his school jazz band to two first place state rankings, he found that the drums was his calling in life. At the age of 25 he has been playing for 21 years in 2008. Proving himself on the drums at his local churches and internationally with community choirs in the area, he is as comfortable doing studio work as he his doing live prefomances. Today he continues to pursue being a full-time drummer.Over the past year Kyle has expanded his drummimg career by opening himself up to other types or music which include the band Raw Footage that was based out of Chicago by a local hip-hop artist that combined rock and roll music with hip-hop lryics. By hooking up with that band Kyle was able to pioneer that thick R&B groove with monster rock and roll guitar licks. Not stopping there, Kyle aslo embedded himself deep into the world of funk. Working with another band, Chip Ratliff and the ECS band, Kyle created a deep pocket groove for the band to play some of the greatest funk and R&B songs ever written.Which brings Kyle to his current projects, currently Kyle is the drummer for Logan St. Baptist Church in Batavia,Il. Kyle is also apart of a new cutting age sound from Ireland. Working with Irish singer/songwriter Danny Burns and the Defectors, Kyle has recently found that his gospel and r&b background has opened up yet another door to help create a rock sound with an r&b feel to some original and triditional Irish music. Kyle is currently on tour with the Defectors. Kyle is always looking to expand his muscial career and is always hungry to work with creative minds from all musicical backgrounds. Kyle has a high standard and regard for what he does and prides himself on his pocket playing ability, but has also been known to be one of the eaisest "cats" to work with in the music industry.
