First and foremost, despite how cliche it may sounds, I'm a goth before anything else.No no, hold on - wait one second there kids! Stow that glowstick where it won't glow anymore, don't trip over those giant pair of Tripp gangster pants. I'm sure you read a poster somewhere that said Marilyn Manson was the godfather of goth. Oh shit, my brain leaked typing that last statement.Point is, and crotchety cynicism aside - I view goth as something dark, sexy and beautiful. A subculture wherein for the first time in my life I've felt right. A culture which favours intelligent thought, music and artistic expression before chemical drugs and herd mentality.See you all at the clubs, and support your local scene - go out and live! Live as though it's your last day on this mortal coil. Trust me, it's a helluva lot better than sulking about on teh interwebs.
