Sounds Like: .There are limited words to describe the vocal styling of H-Mode's front men. On the one hand you have Moodon and Deep who can adapt their voices to fit any musical environment. On the other hand there is Hans Beckx, the man with "The glossy Voice". What is unique about H-Mode’s songs? Any of the genres they pick is dancehall flavoured, plus Moodon is most often in charge of the crowd control. With the introduction of H-Mode’s style, there’s yet to be a stage large enough to contain the presence of these young energetic acts.Live dancehall and contemporary highlife provide the foundation for H-Mode to perform their brand of Reggae music, an eclectic mixture of various musical styles. A typical H-Mode album offers a wide range of musical tastes, not a new genre per say.Their debut album, “Alimamaâ€, ‘ewe’ (Ghanaian dialect) for ‘nakedness’ or ‘nudity’ has a lineup of songs loaded with one of the genre’s tightest rhythm sections. With “Alimamaâ€, the group seeks to use its album to unveil the true identity of Ghanaians. “Discovering and realizing one’s real self is the best way to achieve their goals. We need your real creativity [very] nakedly unveiled to the world, says Moodonâ€. “Reality check, time to face the realities of lifeâ€, adds Hans Bekx."Aba" is a song that answers the cries of men and women about the issue of fidelity in relationships. “Never Give Upâ€, as in the real sense of the words, is an inspiration from H-Mode to everyone. “You can always do it rightâ€, they sing. “Blue Blue Blueâ€, the album’s main dance or party cut was a bombshell, the very week it premiered on local television, leaving a great number of new fans expecting, if not demanding, H-Mode’s album same week.
