Shameka. I am the creator of www.bluedreamztravel.com . I created this page to find like-minded people such as myself who knows that nothing is unattainable and you can have everything you dream of having and so much more... there is no limit to what you decide in your mind is possible. if you limit your mind, you limit everything else about you... why live a life of limitations?
I use to live my life that way also. I limited myself to the what is considered the norm and stayed inside the box because I was scared of what living outside of the box or without limitations would do to me. not anymore, now I live my life as I choose and the way it was meant for me to live. I am now following the path that I always knew was out there for me...
WHO IS SHAMEKA ANYWAY?
I am a 31 year old single mother of one. I am laid back, Outgoing, shy at times and very friendly. I am originally from brooklyn , NY. Now, I live in northern NJ. I grew up in the projects and was always made fun of because I didn't fit in. The typical things that other young girls my age were into I was not. People always made the assumption about me that I was stuck up because I always wanted more than what was available to me at the time.
I lived in a single family home with my mom and my brother. I watched my mom work 2 jobs at one point to give me and my brother everything we needed/wanted.
So, through watching my mom struggle I knew from a young age that I wanted more. I didn't want to have to struggle to provide for my family. I wanted to give my mom everything she has given me. My mom put me and my brother above everything else and I knew that I would repay her for that some day.
Holding on to the promise I made to myself... I was always dreaming, dreaming big but didn't quite know how I was going to achieve it.
I could never accept the rules of traditional living... go to work, save money and hope that you still have a job tomorrow... Working overtime but not getting overtime pay.
At the age of 19 I had my son. I was a stay at home mom for a while. Upon, my return to the workforce doors were closed on me. I went from interview to interview only to be turned down. when I did find a position I was a victim of "The last one Hired, First one Fired"curse. I still had the dreams of making my own way. So, my journey started...
I began the journey of digging myself out the box and finding the true path to freedom. During this journey I tried so many things... Real Estate Note Investing, Direct Sales, Cash Gifting, Avon, My Power Mall.... thinking everything was gonna get me to my ultimate goal of financial freedom and being able to keep my promise. I made my lists, made my calls and got nothing but family & friends running for cover when I came around.
LoL... When I joined my first home business, I was sold a dream and promised a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, just like 9 out 10 of us are!
I spent hours upon hours, following misguided instructions and learning all the marketing techniques from my upline, and got so wrapped up in these misconceptions, which kept me from making any real money, that I almost gave up on my journey.
I DIDN'T GIVE UP THOUGH....
Now I am on my way to making all my dreams become a reality. I have taken Control of MY own destiny. I now have the time to do all the things I always wanted do. I don't have to get anyone's permission or deal with being let go because i was the last one hired.
I am finally enjoying my life because I know that I am well on my way to making everything I want happen... Achieving my goals and forfilling my promise that I made myself so many years ago.
I am a true believer that everyone can achieve greatness. We are what we believe we are. If you believe that there is nothing better in this life for you than what you have now, that is exactly where you are going to stay. If you believe that you don't deserve that man/woman, guess what than you won 't have them.
We have to see the surface before we can emerge out of the water. If you don't see the surface then you will drown trying to reach the top...
* Journey To Success *
I knew I had to educate myself and the only way to recieve that education was to seek the first hand knowledge from those who have already paved the way. surround myself with people who are already living the life I know I am destined to live.... I took and continue to take in everything they have told me and make it work in my business that I am currently in. I was a skeptic, but what they told me does work.
Through these wonderful mentors & friends, I learned and continue to learn the new methodologies of building a home based business. What they showed me made so much sense and was really very simple as long as I was open to learning.
I am not a salesman, I have to sell me... not my product, not my compensation plan. just ME !!!
People don't buy into your product, or your service. they buy into YOU !!! Because they believe that you can help them achieve what ever it is they want out this thing we call life. you show them a way to turn impossibilities into infinite possibilities.
So thru them I learned and continue to learn ALL the in's and outs of building a successful home based business.
See my attitude was always "They just want to make money off of me, While I do the hard work". I was so far from the truth. The reality is ... If you help others make their dreams a reality and guide them to achieving their goals. Then their success will in turn be your success.

What I have learned has changed my life and I know it will change the lives of those that have an open mind and are willing to learn. My reason for creating this page is to network and share ideas and strategies with highly motivated, positive and success driven individuals. Also, to freely share all the knowledge, skills and experience that I have and continue to gain along my journey.
Moving from struggling on public assistance to being able to make an income in my home based business that I work completely from home is a dream in it self!
I also wanted to share with you my positive life story, With the hope that I can inspire you to never give up on your Dreams, your Goals or your own ability to help the people around you achieve their own success.
Life is dependent on attitude and everybody has the strength within them to overcome whatever obstacles life tosses before us. And believe me, I've over come a lot!
