The Lobster Trap is a family-friendly restaurant and fish market located on the Back River in Monument Beach on pristine Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Our humble beginnings lie in the tiny fish market we opened in the late 1960's. In 1976, we expanded to include a fish-n-chips restaurant. Today, our business continues to grow, thanks to our customers, who revisit us time and again to enjoy our commitment to high quality and great service. Visiting the Lobster Trap is a true New England experience, and getting here couldn't be easier. We're located just 2 miles from the Bourne Bridge in Monument Beach (Bourne), Massachusetts.
Our customers have been enjoying summertime lunch and dinner while overlooking Buzzard's Bay from our open-air dining room for decades. We've been proudly serving classic New England clamshack-style cuisine with a modern twist from our Back River location in Monument Beach since 1976.
And while our restaurant is open May through Columbus Day, our fish market and catering services are open year-round.
