G Man Project

Musician on a journey....

About Me

Brian "G Man" G. has been playing guitar for quite some time, exploring and building his abilities and hard-won talents through jams, friends, and sheer tenacity. He's not the greatest by any stretch, but has a passion for music that is impossible to separate from the rest of his being. He treats every opportunity to play like a lesson. He has learned volumes from his compadres and fellow musicians. He is a permanent student breaking out of his shell.
Brian plays mainly blues/ rock, but is open to all forms of music. His greatest influence is Eric Clapton. The Beatles, Stones, Buddy Guy, BB King Stevie Ray, John Mayer, Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Doyle Brahmall II, Keb Mo, and Robert Randolph are some other of his faves. When Brian first began learning the guitar in college, he did so with internet tabs of Metallica, like every 14 year old boy, but has since grown! His main contemporary influences/ friends/ mentors are Matt Meyer, Jason Kent, Evan Priday, Rob Wold, Jeremiah Bohn, Rainman, Zo, Matt Michael, and Riverside Rob.
This page is going to be a running chronicle of G Man's study and aspirations to break out of the proverbial shell. Recordings to be coming soon...
