Hey yall! So I really hate this section because if you know me, you know I can talk for days... especially about myself haha.
But for those who know me well, you should know that I just made a huge life change by leaving my hometown city of Pittsburgh and moving to Dallas TX. Although it is a completely drastic change, I am a very strong person and am starting to really like Texas and becoming more comfortable in growing up away from my comfort level. I am engaged to a wonderful guy (RickyPoo!) We're both from the same hometown, same high school, same college, and now we both live in Dallas where it is absolutely beautiful! 95 degree days starting in March-October and 75 degree days anywhere in between there--the perfect match for Amanda!
For the past few years I have been doing alot of modeling and promotional modeling work. Starting small in PA, I have worked with tons of photographers, other models, and clients from all over the country. Ive had many great oppurtunities come my way, and I hope to continue doing so... alot of people (especially from my small hometown) think my modeling is "just a phase" or degrading, but I have always been a very expressive and sultry kinda girl, also including being very confident in front of a camera--Im a ham! Adding to my busy life... I also work in a restaurant and continue my college career at University of North Texas, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Communication Studies. I believe that my experience in promotions and the entertainment industry will definitely be beneficial to my future career. Look for me in Maxim and MTV soon :o)
Some fun facts about the "real" Amanda Brin:
1.) Corona is my favorite beer, which I drink on a continual basis haha 2.) My fave color is pink! 3.) I love wearing leg warmers with hooker heels and booty shorts 4.) My White Maltese (Napolean is his name) is such a lovable adorable BADASS, but could definitely be in commercials! 5.) I am NOT a natural blonde, and I DO wear hair extensions 6.) I lay out by my pool in my front yard every chance I get 7.) JuJuBe's are my favorite candy 8.) I wear barely any name brand clothing--Im a huge bargain shopper! 9.) Surprisingly, I still drive my first car = a 93 Olds Cutlass... I know it's embarassing! 10.) I love my fiancee Rick with all my heart and would be nowhere right now without him 11.) I watch WWE wrestling all the time! I have a crush on Batista 12.) I have over 35 pairs of shoes, mainly stilettos and pumps 13.) I am an occasional smoker, usually when I drink 14.) I carry bear mase on my key chain 15.) I hate shaving my legs, really I HATE it 16.) I never get professional pedicures--usually Linz or myself will do it haha 17.) I love my girl and guy friends, but I really don't like having GIRLS NIGHT! YAY! Not a huge fan 18.) I am a very independent person; I can take care of myself if needed to 19.) I really don't like to work out; maybe that is why my weight fluctuates like CRAZY! 20.) I LOVE THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS! WHOOOOOOO GO BLACK AND GOLD!
I do have really great friends, from all over the country now haha. My college ladies at California University of PA---I miss you ladies so much! We had some really great times, many I cannot remember, but it looks like yall still know how to party hard! Miss you girls! And to my hometown ladies and guys--yall are my heart. I went through some pretty rough years for a while, and you all helped me through--whether it was giving me another beer or picking me up in another state at 5am? lol. Since leaving, I realize how important friends are, love you guys! And to my new friends here in TX--yall have made this place alot of fun so far! I hope to keep going on this crazy path and have the time of my life!
