About Me

David Andrew has been a performer for the last 3 years. Having formed the band Big Brother back in 06’ they played in and around Los Angeles as well as on the Hollywood Strip and various other locations scattered around Southern California. For audiences large and small, they were featured on stages such as The Whisky A Go-Go, The Knitting Factory, The Scherr Forum, Castaic Days and many others.
After several key members of the band departed for college, David decided to try it solo. He is sponsored by Martin guitars and enjoys acoustic music with a passion, writing such songs as 'Lost', and his cover of Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here'. But the heavy metal music from his past slips out on occasion on such tunes as 'Already There' and parts of 'Shes Coming Home. Finding the balance between these two genres as well as his other loves like jazz and hip-hop results in music that is fresh and new yet strikingly nostalgic and familiar.
Besides performing, David is also a freshman in college, slowly earning general education credit, as well as studying music from many different private instructors.
