About Me

Please check out our other page at www.myspace.com/instantbeatles
This page is dedicated to the families of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. They were the ones in the middle of a whirlwind called Beatlemania
Heather Louise McCartney was born December 31, 1962, to Linda and John See. Her parents divorced after only eighteen months of marriage, because See had taken off for Africa and expected his wife and daughter to follow. Linda See refused, and sent a letter to her husband stating that she wanted a divorce. After raising her daughter on her own in New York City for several years, Linda married Paul McCartney, in 1969, when her daughter was six years old. That same year, she was formally adopted by Paul through legal process (and prior consent from See, her biological father) and took the McCartney name, making her the eldest of the Beatles kids. In1969, Heather appeared in Let It Be. She has stated that although See had a lifelong influence on her, she considers Paul McCartney to be her father.
Heather learned pottery while living in Arizona with her natural father, John See, and remains a prominent potter and designer. She has had exhibitions in New York City, Phoenix, Tokyo, Paris and Sydney, and has been described by Wedgewood as "one of Britain's most exciting new talents." In 1999, Heather unveiled a line of houseware products in Atlanta, Georgia called the Heather McCartney Houseware Collection.

She now lives on Paul's Sussex estate in England.
John Charles Julian Lennon (nicknamed JCJ, by his dad) is the 2nd eldest of all the Beatles' kids. He was born at Sefton General Hospital in Liverpool on April 8th, 1963, to John and Cynthia Lennon. The same hospital that John's mother was brought to after she was killed by an of duty police officer, that had been drinking.
Julian and his Mother, Cynthia, were left by John when Julian was only 5 years old. Julian, unfortunately, had little contact with his father after that, and has become the man he is, mostly due to his mother.
As a fan of his father's, it is sad to think that, John, being the man of love and peace that he was, didn't try harder to build a solid relationship with his oldest son. However, John himself would tell us not to put him on a pedestal. He was human, and made some of the same mistakes many others make. I think that, given the chance, things would be very different between them now. This doesn't make me love him (John) any less.
It does, however, give me a better insight to Julian's soul, and an understanding of who he is. Julian has been working on a very important project called 'Whaledreamers' for about 10 years. It is slated for limited release in the US for September 26th, 2008, and has already debued in Asia, Europe and Astralia. Please take a moment to watch the Youtube videos below. Julian also recently won the 2008 Better World Award for his work in Environmental Protection. Congratulations, Julian! Please check out the award video at http://www.lesfab400mc.com/reel.html

Zak Starkey is the third born of the Beatles kids. He was born to Ringo and Maureen on September 13, at Queen Charlotte's Maternity Hospital in London. Zak is an excellent drummer, whose style is very similar to his dad's. He has been working with the band Oasis, since 2004, and is their 3rd drummer. Although he never officially joined the band, he recently split with them, and is slated to go on tour with The Who this summer. Recently, Zak and his girlfriend Sharna Liguz debuted their band the Penguins. They played to a packed house of Saint Moritz, in central London, on the hottest day of the year. Zak and Sharna wrote the songs for the concert such as Jet Engines, Space Invaders, and even covered Swamp Snake by 70s rockers The Sensational Alex Harvey Band. Zak played drums, Sharna is lead singer. Zak's daughter Tatia Starkey, the bass player for Belakiss, joined her dad on stage as well. As Zak stated, "It was great. It was packed, great vibe, audience participation, alcoholism and paranoia, laughs, tears, bull shit, bad jokes, and that was just the front row""The first night of many more good times to come, here's hoping the Pengiuns is about having a good time and that's what we're doing."As of now there are no plans to record
The 4th Beatle baby was Jason Starkey, also born to Ringo and Maureen, on August 19, 1967, who were much more into the family mode than any of the other Beatles. Although Jason has worked as a roadie, he has also followed in his fathers footsteps and is a reasonably good drummer, but has not pursued it to the extent of his brother, Zak. He was once quoted as saying "being Ringo Starr's son is the biggest drag of my life. It's a total pain." Referring to being compared to his famous father. Although Jason has had some problems in the past with drugs and some other complications with the law, he is a family man, and lives with his wife, Flora and two sons, Louie, born in 1999, and Sonny, born in 2002, in England.
And then along came Mary. Mary Anna McCartney was born to Paul and Linda on August 28, 1969. She was the 5th between them, and Paul and Linda's second child.
Mary has a successful career as a photographer, like her mother, Linda. Being that her paternal-grandmother (and subsequently, her mother) died of breast cancer, she has become a champion of Breast Cancer Awareness. It was through this that she became friends with Cherie and Tony Blair, former first family of Britain. It was Mary that took the official photos of the Prime Minister, and their 4th child, Leo. In 2002, Mary produced the documenatary 'Wingspan', which focused on her parents band "Wings", and her fathers post Beatles career.
On 3 April 1999, McCartney gave birth to Paul McCartney's first grandchild, Arthur Alistair Donald, making Paul the second Beatle grandfather (the first was Ringo Starr). The Donalds' second son, Elliot Donald, was born on 1 August 2002. She and her husband, Donald, have since parted and has just had a new baby boy, Sam, on August 11th, 2008 with her now partner, Simon Aboud.
Mary now runs the picture department at her father's company, MPL Communications.
Lee Parkin Starkey was Ringo and Maureen's 3rd, and the 6th of the Beatle babies. She was born on November 11th, 1970, in London, at Queen Charlotte Maternity Hospital just months after the Beatles had broken up, on November 17th 1970. Her middle name, Parkin, was the reintroduction of a former Starkey family name.
In the 1980's and 90's, Lee owned and ran a boutique in London and then in L.A. After it closed she moved back to England. Then, in 1994, Lee was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Luckily, it was curable, and after having gone through 2 surgeries and radiation treatment, it was gone, only to return in 2001.
Right now, Lee is healthy and has become make up artist and a fashion designer.
Stella McCartney was born in London, Paul McCartney and Linda's 3rd, and his 2nd natural. She was the 7th Beatle baby born. She is named after both of her maternal great-grandmothers. Linda grandmothers were named Stella. As a young girl, McCartney travelled the globe with her parents and their pop group Wings. The name of Paul and Linda's band 'Wings' was inspired by Stella's difficult birth. As she was being born by emergency caesarean section, Paul sat outside the operating room and prayed that she be born "on the wings of an angel." Wings toured from shortly after her birth in 1971 until 1980. Stella McCartney became interested designing clothes at age 12, when she made her first jacket. Three years later, she interned for Christian Lacroix, working on his first fashion design collection, honing her skills on Savile Row for a number of years. She studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in the early 1990s. Her graduation collection in 1995 was modelled by friends and supermodels Naomi Campbell, Yasmin Le Bon and Kate Moss – for free – at the graduation runway show. The collection was shown to a song penned by her famous father, called "Stella May Day." The show made front-page news, and the entire collection was sold to Tokio, a London boutique. The designs were licensed to Browns, Joseph, Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus. In 1998 she designed her sister Mary's wedding dress for her wedding to television producer Alistair Donald. As a strict vegetarian, McCartney does not use fur or leather in her designs and supports PETA. Some of McCartney's designs have text that elaborates on her "no animal" policy; for example, one of her jackets for Adidas says, "suitable for sporty vegetarians" on the sleeve. Her father is also known for supporting PETA by protesting against designers who use animal fur, and those who wear it. However, Stella will use wool, silk, and other animal-derived fabrics in her designs. Stella currently lives in London with her husband, Allister and their 3 children, son's Miller and Beckett and daughter, Baily.

Paul's nephew, brother Mike's son, Josh McCartney,25,is a drummer in his own right. He toured with Paul during his Russian tour, and made headlines while with the band 'Trilby' when they recorded an EP called 'Go'. Later, he, along with some fellow 'Trilby' members, formed the band "Famous Last Words", but has since left. Josh is now a web designer and designed his dad Michaels website. His own site is www.Group-hug.com.

Watch Josh play drums for "Famous Last Words" - he sort of looks like his famous Uncle!

Sean & Charlotte's Trip to PNG

This is the song that John's father, Alf recorded shortly after reuniting with his famous son. John, understandably feeling that his dad was capitalizing on the Beatles success, was pleased when it failed to reach the charts. It is believed that Brian Epstein actually helped to keep it from being played on the radio stations at the time.Check out our blog from May 9, 2008, for a bio on Alfred Lennon.
