Life is but a dream....

About Me

It all began on Sunday, October 21, 1984...the rest is history...in the making. The SurfaceMy name is Lawrence. I was born in the SOUTH (where most of my family is). However, I spent most of my life in the MIDWEST. I graduated from Mount Tabor HS in Winston-Salem, N.C. in 2003. I currently attend North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, N.C. I'm a Journalism & Mass Communications major with a concentration in public relations. I want to go to grad school for business and advance journalism studies at one of the following: Columbia, NYU, UGA, or Hampton. What I Love To DoI love music. Music was a part of my life before I even realized it. I look at it as a way to express all of the different sides of me. I love to read as well (it wasn't always this way). I've matured and I know now that a lot of what black men need to know and don't know is hidden from us in books. I like to stay in shape (work out and run). I like to dine out. I love movies. I like to party/club every now and then. I love to chill, relax, and act silly with my bro's. And, I definitely enjoy interesting conversation. My PlanWhile attending graduate school, I want to work at a record label doing public relations work. I also want to gain more experience writing for hip hop magazines. By doing this and learning everything I can about business, I'm preparing myself for an executive position at a major magazine. From there, I want to establish my own magazine, with my own writers, and my own vision for the magazine. It's only a matter of time.My HustleAgain, I'm a lover of music. I play and produce my own music. I cover Hip Hop, Jazz, & R&B. I want to work with various artists on their respective albums and projects and eventually establish my own label. For now I'm doing my own thing. Click the picture below to go to my music page.My Ideal WomanFirst of all, I don't think anyone just FINDS that ideal person. I believe you find someone that has enough of the qualities that attract you and it builds from there. The ideal relationship has to develop. With that said, I'm still trying to define that ideal woman. But to paint a picture, I'll share some characteristics of that "IDEAL" individual:A woman who is humble yet proud; a woman who is intelligent; a woman who knows that she looks good; a confident woman; a woman with goals (and actions); a woman who believes in GOD; a woman who is honest, a woman who loves to have fun; a woman with a vivid imagination; a woman with her own unique style; a woman who can live for the moment; an woman open-minded to various races and ethnic backgrounds; a woman who remembers where she came from and who helped her get to where she is today; a woman who can cook (I can cook too by the way); a woman who loves music; a woman who isn't distracted by $ or fame; a woman who is willing to let love work; a woman who will love unconditionally; a woman that will sacrifice;(and of course vice verse. I don't want to be hypocritical or selfish....)LOVEMYFLASH CODE
