The Artist at Work
After more than a decade of listening to electronic music, Ostman decided to commence his own forays into the creation of such music in 2006. His previous musical life saw him playing with bands and in solo acoustic work. In the late '90s, he spun vinyl as a college party DJ for four years. He’s writing new music all the time and anticipates a full-length album release in the not-too-distant future. “I am in the process of creating my own guitar, bass and vocal tracks for my electronic projects,†Ostman says. “I’d like to remix and remaster my best tracks for a full album by 2008.†He has recently worked with A&R Select, the hottest indie A&R firm in Hollywood, CA.
