Waverly hills was born on march 31, 2008. its creators were jonathan depool and Andrew “curly” clark, soon to be joined by pianist and vocalist lisa d'arcangelis and bassist shea richie.In less than a month, waverly hills had written, arranged, and recorded five songs, which can be found on their debut ep entitled “amassing an army.” Also amassing a sizable following, the growth shows no signs of halting.Various influences applied by each member have amounted to very diverse, eclectic, and intricate music, reminiscent of progressive metal, alternative rock, and drum n bass. Making use of what they deemed worthy from each of these styles and discarding the rest, waverly hills has become an unchallenged essence, ever growing, ever evolving, and a musical force to be reckoned with.
