Trevor Larkin

About Me

"Being a generally lazy person, Trevor Larkin elected to call his first officially released EP 1. What with it being the first one and all.
1 was recorded and performed by Trevor at his home studio in Seattle and mastered by Kory Kruckenberg (J. Tillman, Damien Jurado). The songs are produced simply but with great clarity and focus, each a wonderful amalgamation of rock, folk and country with a satisfying pop immediacy.
Lyrically, the three songs on 1 address confused, turbulent relationships with a subtle hint of optimism- that a spark can exist between two people that helps make sense of an often confusing, broken and hurtful world.
Trevor Larkin is a musician based in Seattle, Washington. He tours nationally as a solo artist as well as playing bass for hard-rock band the Double Cross Committee and keyboards for jam/pop band National Broadcast. He is also a writer, guitar instructor and composer of music for TV and film.
