DEME is the in-house, interdisciplinary arts collective at Foyle Arts, University of Ulster in Derry, Northern Ireland. They specialize in collaborative work that exploits the use of technology and live performance to explore, cross and reconfigure the boundaries of Music, Dance, Drama and Design. They have presented performances and installations as part of the 2009 Imagine Create festival, 2008 SIEF conference (Derry) 2008 ISBC/ISBE Congress (Europa Hotel, Belfast) and recently supported the vocal ensemble, Juice at Sandino’s bar and The Playhouse, Derry. Deme is the only ensemble of its kind on the island of Ireland.
