About Me

PLEASE Send Pics of your pets & cool animals to add to this slide-show! This page is for all animals. Set up in memory of my old dog Justice - a loving Great Dane Doberman Pinscher mix. About 135 pounds at her biggest, a very tall lady. She had a doberman's coloration & mostly great dane features. She lived to be over 12 years old. I miss her every day.
ADD TO THE SLIDE SHOW! I will post pictures of any pets you'd like to have known of, seen or remembered with a spot on this page. This includes pets you have now or pets you loved and lost (hence - Animals Lost & Living.) I'll also post wildlife pics, neighborhood critters etc. - please include a short caption or comment on the picture so you can say whatever you want - send via myspace or as a jpeg to eric - [email protected]
This isn't intended to be a gloomy depressing page. Justice loved all animals - other dogs, cats, skunks, racoons - even mice & rats. You name it - she'd have given it at least a wag. She did, in fact, raise my cat Jones as if he were her own puppy, and he's a cat (who loves his dog-brothers Dargo & Chuck.)
Pictures include pets still with us, memorial pics and whatever else ... I think it's important for people to know that when an animal is lost to old age or illness or whatever... and their owner hurts - it's usually because that person is a true animal lover. There is another animal out there somewhere who needs someone just like them. So often someone loses a pet and the grief of it hurts so bad that they never try again. People need to see that they can go on and be happy by bringing home a new companion and that by doing so they aren't betraying their old pet. Those memories that at first cause sadness -eventually become things that bring about smiles.
I know that Justice would have loved my Golden Retriever, Dargo for the enthusiastically brilliant goofball that he is & my room mate's crazy little terrier Chuck for his spunk.
