About Me

Myspace LayoutsMy life has taken many a turn these last few years. To start with, I'm a mommy. My daughter Ayvah is a monster and an angel. She turned four this summer. I look at her sometimes and think - wow, she's growing and learning and thriving all because of me! I can't even keep houseplants alive. I've gone through a lot of realizations about this crazy sometimes tragic life that I lead. I've completely lost friends that meant the world to me and grown far from ones I used to be so close too. I can accept that people change as do I. It's a hard lesson to learn and one of the most painful but in the end, if you can learn more about yourself and how you've changed, then you can reap the rewards of self-discovery. I've risen from the ashes with new friends, a renewed sense of purpose, a rediscovered faith, and a thirst for all that I want out of life. My mission is to be happy and that means doing whatever it takes to get there. If you're not along for the ride, regardless of how bumpy it may be, step aside. I never promised that loving me in any capacity would be easy, I can just promise that it'll be worth it : )

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I wish I could meet my Mom 20 years ago and Nick Hexum from 311. I'd also like to take notes from Donald Trump, get some tips from Martha Stewart (everyone knows I need help being domestic), and meet Ed McMahon and his Publisher's Clearing House van outside my front door. ..

Catch me if I fall...

They say that a smell can bring back a memory. Ever had that happen to you? You're standing somewhere and all of a sudden you get a whiff of something that reminds you of Mom. Or you smell something t...
