Influences: The Beatles of course . . . mostly all of the late-sixties rock/pop acts, what a wonderous period for popular music . . . in particular Buffalo Springfield, Simon and Garf, Steve Winwood and Traffic, Byrds, CSNY (Y in particular, as a songwriter and great one-note soloist) . . . somewhat later da blues too, Allmans, country-rock (don't say Eagles, say "Poco"). . . In my yute I missed the boat on British folk-rock but later had the pleasure of discovering the music of Nick Drake, Sandy Denny, and the great Richard Thompson -- the single best (and bizarrely overlooked) artist/performer of the whole rock-era shebang, IMHO. (Still kicking butt in his late fifties, check him out on some YouTube clips and be prepared to get floored) . . . and not to forget our under-appreciated American treasure, John Hiatt ("Thing Called Love", "Have a LIttle Faith in Me") -- check him out too, decades of great songwriting and performance, and still cookin'.
Sounds Like: All 'dem influences, I hope, stirred in my own pot.
