My Life on Myspace (rules and such):
Hello. On here, I'm known as Jelas™ which will become my designer name when i unveil my first creations and start my official career. If you're wondering, Jelas is Indonesian for Vivid. I chose this name because I think I describes my looks and personality well. My former online names were Mσnster™, then Vivid™. I changed names because as time passed, too many people began using those names or variations of them. Hopefully now that I've switched languages, I won't need to change it again. I do respond to Jelas or Thea however. Before you judge me, read my ENTIRE about me section. It's what little you can see of my real self through a computer screen. I do have a life outside of myspace, but I enjoy having a page. It's led me to learn a lot about computers and find many new friends. I'm on a lot during the weekend unless I'm busy with friends, and during the week I'm mostly on at night. I tend to come off a little mean on here, but that's because I get very annoyed with people. The following is a list of rules that need to be followed, otherwise I will get annoyed.

My Past:
When I was younger, I was considered a freak. I talked too loud, I was too hyper, and I was too crazy. I was cast out from the normal groups, and just wandered through the years. I did have a semi-permanent group of friends, but as people moved away or changed themselves most of us grew apart. I think we all have that stage, where no one really accepts us. Not much has changed since then, but I'm finally shaping into the person I truly am and set in stone my personal beliefs and goals.

My Present and Personality:
-- Please do not call me stupid or ignorant. I'm likely to know more about the topic than you think.
-- I know what I want out of life, and there's nothing you can do to stop me. I will accomplish my goals. You can choose to help me, or get pushed out of the way. It's your choice.
-- I will admit to being a complete girly-girl. I don't like bugs, getting dirty, etc. I feel more at home in a mall or boutique than camping. Nature hates me.
-- My real friends in life are far and few between. There are only two people in this world that even come close to understanding how I work, Andi (best friend) and Paige (girlfriend). Besides that, I have very few people i can stand to be around. I'm tired of having friendships with no substance and hanging with people that won't accept me. If this gets me hated, then so be it. Your high school drama and issues are so overrated. I'll choose an intelligent and fun person over stupid immaturity any day.
-- I like most of the people in my classes at school because when you take honors and AP courses you deal with actually intelligent people. I tend to be bored at my high school though. I feel I could be out getting things done rather than sitting in science class.
-- I have two main sides to me: mellow and randomly hyper. NEVER GIVE ME COFFEE OR CAFFEINE. I'm like a cannon ball. It's like a switch inside me that can be flipped on and off. Nos is the only energy drink that doesn't make me crazy, so it's my favorite.
-- I tend to think of myself as a fun person to hangout with, though I do prejudge and am very critical of anyone I don't hold up to my standard.
-- I hate to sound conceited, but I do consider myself to be better than most people. Not perfect, just better. If you lived around a bunch of conservative rednecks who consider full body army cameo fashion, you would too.
-- I am happy with myself, but at the same time recognize my flaws and am currently working on rubbing them out.
-- I when i get worked up or angry I tend to cuss a lot, but if you plan on being around me you'll just have to deal with it. I am trying hard to cut down though.
-- I have determination that can kill if it's something worth my time to put forth a lot of effort. That tends to make me blunt about things.
-- People tend to describe me as cute and quirky, so hanging out with me guarntees you a good time and not in the way all you pervs are thinking.
-- Personally, I don't smoke, drink, or do drugs of any kind. I like to be in control of my body and surroundings. I do not see the point in flings either. You might as well get your money's worth if you plan on sleeping with someone. I fail to see how that makes me any less fun or enjoyable.
-- My obsession is anything Asian, Japanese especially. I love anime and manga, so if you know of a good series I should start watching or reading, let me know.
-- I'm happier when I'm around a lot of people. I feed off the energy and the crowd. I don't go to shows often because of location, but if you know of one and want to go together hit me up. Gradually I'm becoming more solitary though.
-- I'll be a generic nice to you unless you talk bad about me. I'm tired of people making up lies about me just to get attention. Ask me what happened, not other people. Don't go there with me. I can be the most cruel and vicious person if pushed.
-- I'm a night girl. I hate mornings and love to sleep in. I have a hard time going to bed at a decent hour.
-- I am a world traveler and never regretted a moment of it. I have been to most states on the east coast, as well as the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands. I feel that it's important to visit places, learning their culture and history, so that you're not in your own little box, convinced that the world only works a certain way. To be ignorant of the past ends only in the repeat of those past mistakes.

My Appearance:
I'll say it: I'm vain. When I want to, I put a lot of time and effort into how I look (2/3 hours minimum), unless I'm having a lazy day or about half the school days. I hate getting up early, so I tend to wear very simple outfits on the weekdays. I usually end up spending first period doing my makeup if I wear any that day. I like being different, because that's my personality. I change my hair on a daily basis. Sometimes I wear it curly, big and spiky, lots of volume, pigtails, bed head, whatever. My original hair color was brown, but I got tired of it. To see it, look in my retired photo album. My hair has been purple, pink, blue, and currently black. I use two different hair sprays in my hair when I "go big" and a couple different gels when I have the time. I love makeup. I wasn't allowed out in public with it on until I was twelve, but at home I had more play makeup than anyone. I loved messing around with it on me and my Barbie dolls. I even would sit friends and family down and make them wear theater makeup. I love my liquid eyeliner. Urban decay is my oxygen. I tend to mix together different shades of eye shadows when wearing them. People tell me I could open my own store with as many products as I have. My personal favorites are NARS, MAC, and Makeup Forever. Fake eyelashes and glitter are also fun. If you want to see what I look like without any makeup at all, look in my unedited album. When it comes to clothes, I generally wear an outfit no else would think to put together (when i want to), because I like to standout from the norm. Most of the time I have one main bold color with lots of accenting colors and pieces. Patterns are always interesting to mix and match. Shopping in thrift stores are fun. I'm starting to even make some of my own clothes. I try to just keep and open mind and dive in to creativity.

My Future:
My goal for the moment is to survive high school for one more year, then on to college. For now, I'm thinking about going into fashion, so I'll most likely go NC State and do internships to New York/Philly/LA. I'm currently working on my own clothing line, though its a slow process. Keep an eye out for it though.
