Golden Nugget was formed on 2003 by John and Thanos who were playing together
and forming several groups since 1989. The first line up with John R. on drums and Mickey James on vocals, who gave the band's name, ended on 2006. Leonidas joined the band as the new singer and Tolis on drums. The band recorded their first promo single at "Reaction Studios" on 2008. "The Lonely Road", "Secret Black Town" and "Power From You" are three selections from the first Golden Nugget album.
