I think people are funny. They just say funny things. People are clever.
Here are some random things about me that you don't really care about:
1. I do not go to the movie theatre. I will not. If someone INSISTS that I go and pays for my ticket, I'll go (as long as it is in the evening, because for some reason I can't stand the theatre during the day).
2. I ♥ hummus and veggie burgers.
3. I am a proud owner of a Kindle, but I am too poor currently to purchase books for it.
4. "Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them." - L.S.
5. I am a moron! Fin.
"You'd better get busy, though, buddy. The goddam sands run out on you every time you turn around. I know what I'm talking about. You're lucky if you get time to sneeze in this goddam phenomenal world." - The Famous Zachary Glass, Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger
"Though this is quite a terrible bore for you, dear Bessie and Les, superb or suitable construction of sentences holds some passing, amusing importance for a young fool like myself!" - Seymour Glass, Hapworth 16, 1924 by J.D. Salinger
"She wasn’t doing a thing that I could see, except standing there leaning on the balcony railing, holding the universe together." - J.D. Salinger, A Girl I Knew
"Let us go forth, the tellers of tales, and seize whatever prey the heart long for, and have no fear. Everything exists, everything is true, and the earth is only a little dust under our feet." - William Butler Yeats
"We had a lovely day today, uh, throwing the ball around in the park, bringing back all types of memories about being a kid. But kind of the, kind of uh, overwhelming memory is that I’m not really doing what I wanted to do with my life, is that I’m not playing, uh, shortstop for the Seattle Mariners right now. I don’t know what happened. Somewhere somethin’ went wrong and now I’m stuck doing this shit. I guess I’ll just make the best of it. You gotta turn that frown upside down, and take what life gives ya. So here’s a song.†– Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie
"How can it be luck if I aim?"
"Because it will be," he said. "You'll be glad if you hit his marble - Ira's marble - won't you? Won't you be glad? And if you're glad when you hit somebody's marble, then you sort of secretly didn't expect too much to do it. So there'd have to be some luck in it, there'd have to be slightly quite a lot of accident in it." - Seymour: An Introduction by J.D. Salinger
