Oh, bloody hell, do we need to tell this story again? - well here goes, write this down and put it somewhere that we..ll never ever have to speak about it again.Naked as Friends is a band which started up in 1997 in London by singer/songwriter Jason Paradisa. Based in London, he played with session musicians
such as Stevie Lawrence, Chris Bells, Stevie Klasson, Jim Barner, David Diamond, Nicky Shaw, Spike Whitfield and Simen Hansson.The Band was recording their first album, and when the album was ready to plunge - British Police stormed into wessex studio and arrested the singer, and drove him down to Pentonvile Prison and the tapes where locked in.The bands singer had rented musical equipment and sold them to other musicians and professionals to pay the studio, musicians and producers such as Tony Platt from AC/DC and Motorhead, and Ben Kape from Nine Inch Nails.When he finally was released, there was no one left in the band, except David Diamond who was the worst criminal guy ever created by two people who had sex together, and without any music to release, he was unable to make money, and therefore he again was forced to doing crimes.After his time at the big house, he called Tony Platt, the producer of AC/DC and recorded another album with him at the magnificent Galaxy studio. When the recording was finished, Tony and the Galaxy locked those tapes in as well, and the band was left with nothing more than empty hands and a huge bill to pay.Jason was not about to cheat Tony, because he really admired Tony for his wonderful work, but at the time, they had heard about what had happened at the wessex studio, and didn't trust him.The Band had a deal with EMI in Los Angeles, but instead of going to a boring meeting, Jason instead where humping around on Iceland with a lot of willingly girls, he diden..t want to leave, and therefore he was a month late to sign the record-deal, EMI was sold to Virgin, so the band was stranded, living on the streets of LA, taking drugs and fighting with gangs. When the LA Ministry came after them, David was scared and cried, so Jason attacked the gang-leader in the face with an electric guitar, spitting teeth running like a rat and soon the LA Police was there to arrest Jason - but the gang-leader had a big knife, and Jason only a guitar, so the gang-leader was arrested, and since he was wanted for serial-killings, he is still in prison, and will be until the day he dies.After LA, the band went back to London, and David left the band - Jason was all alone on the streets of London, without money or friends, so he went back to Amsterdam to continue his crimes and pay the bill, but suddenly truth hit him in the heart, as he decided to stop this life as a criminal for good.So instead of dealing drugs and cheating the big companies, he started to perform on the street, and living among the poor people in different quarters of the city of Amsterdam, people still know him there as Indy.As time passed by, Jason where starting to grow spiritually, in particular sufi whirling as demonstrated by Osho. He have made his money selling the Norwegian street-paper "Gateavisa", and CD-R copies of his demo-recordings done with other bands.Then suddenly David calls, he haden..t heard from him in ten years. Wessex studio where going down, and the master-tape was released to the band for free.That was great news, and we mastered them at Cuttingroom, and where about to send the master to the cd-manufactorer when Tony Platt mailed the management, saying he wanted to release his tape too.Suddenly we had two great tapes at our possession, and now they will be released.As a final statement Jason would like to add his own words:I did it for Rock and Roll.
