I love Japanese Anime and Manga, I would have every single Anime and Manga in the world if I was able to afford it... I Roleplay at times over the internet and once ran The Vampire Tavern in an AOL Chatroom. I also Play Games on my Playstation 2, PC, N64 and old NES, SNES, etc. I also play Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption Multiplayer when I can...
Nancy A. Collins, Crispin Freeman, and Trent Reznor
This Video Game Music Video was created by Me
This is an Anime Music Video I did as Well
For Music... hmm... let's see.... I am a fan of Nine Inch Nails, Most Anime Music especially Hellsing. I like some or most of the music from Gorillaz, A Perfect Circle, Static-X, KoRn, Jethro Tull, Supertramp, Moody Blues, Marilyn Manson, Coldplay, The Beatles, and whole bunch of other bands in that type of genre... I also Love all of the Music to The Nightmare Before Christmas and most Video Game Music to the ones I play, Kingdom Hearts had wonderful music....
Movies.... I'm more of a fan of Anime than live action, Most of todays live action movies I'm really not interested in... Though I am a fan of Lord of the Rings, that's for sure. I love Hellsing... Can't wait until the English Dub for the OVA is completed. Golden Boy is another Favorite, as well as Chobits, Vampire Hunter D, Petshop of Horrors. Usually if it's Anime... and the type I like... I'll watch it..
I don't really watch a lot of Television due to the fact every show I loved and enjoyed was taken off such as, The Invisible Man and Brimestone, Two shows I enjoyed deeply that I never got a chance to fully take in or get enough time to.
My Favorite Books are by Nancy A. Collins, I also like Manga... and most books in the Horror-Fantasy genre, Vampires and Lycans being my favorite subject, the whole myth is quite interesting... I also like The Lord of The Rings...
Besides my mother I would have to say my Hero is the author Nancy A. Collins, I have read almost all of her books and I for one have to say she is the most wonderful writer I have ever read. If I was ever able to meet one of my favorite authors I would make sure it would be her. I myself try to consider myself a writer and in the middle of a huge "Writers Block" but compared to her work, my stories are really weak and un-emotional.
I found Sunglasses After Dark on a Barnes and Noble bookshelf and picked it up, reading the back I thought it would be an interesting read but at the moment I didn't have enought money to buy it so I sat down and began to read it, the next thing I knew it had gone from 3pm to 8pm and I should have been home 5 hours ago.. Quickly I placed the book back on the shelf and raced home, I explained what had happened to my mother and she said it was alright, but I should have called before telling her I would be at B&N.
I returned a couple of days later with enough money and bought Sunglasses After Dark. I then found out there were many more books with my ultimate Favorite Character in it.. Sonja Blue.
In the weeks and month after finding Sunglasses after Dark I made sure to buy all the novels I could find containing Ms. Collins Anti Hero.
So Far my collection contains...
- Sunglasses After Dark
- Midnight Blue: The Sonja Blue Collection (Contains Sunglasses After Dark, In The Blood, Paint it Black)
- A Dozen Black Roses
- Darkest Heart
But out of all my books there is one that stands out, one I am honored to have... a Special Edition Hard Cover Dead Roses For a Blue Lady. My Copy is numbered 331 out of 400, but I don't mind because it is signed by Nancy A. Collins, but I hope one day to have her sign it for me in person.
I've been looking for any other editions, I've seen soft covers and other books and hopefully I will be able to find the money to buy the books. It's definitely worth it.
