It has always been a goal of mine, to effectively utilize all of my diverse talents, to develop a few more, and to use them for the greater good. As a small child, at four years old, I knew that I wanted to dance. I was told that I would need to wait to learn, until I was eighteen years of age. As I grew up, it became obvious that I loved drama. I definitely wanted to be an actress. I had a knack for writing, and fashion design. As singing was the only thing which I was allowed to do, I sang. I sang in as many choirs, receiving many awards, as I possibly could. At age eighteen, I won a statewide solo voice contest and was given a medal, a certificate, and a scholarship to the California State Summer School of the Arts. I also was awarded a gold medal for being part of the best highschool choir out of the United States of America. It made me aware that singing was something I felt I was meant to do. I also dreamt of composing music. I therefore, went to college to learn how to sing, dance, act, and learn. In the process I also studied philosophy, fine arts, P.E., and sustainable community. Over time, I realized that my main goal was to help promote the acceptance of all different types of people, through anything that I do professionally. I have been an actor, a journalist, a dance teacher, and a personal assistant executive. Presently, I am writing two books. The first is a poetry book. The second is a semi-autobiography. I am also in my final year of private voice study, that is in preparation, for becoming a singer.  Â

In addition, my education and experience includes five years of college dance classes, six years of body conditioning courses, ten plays and musicals, including two of which were traveling shows, ATP (Actors Training Program), and modeling for a hair advertisement campaign.
Just as we seek liberty, freedom, and justice for all, so too should we allow ourselves and eachother the will to follow our dreams. Dreams are made out of choices. Wherein lies the possibilities, which may be born from various belief structures. Through acceptance of eachothers' differences, we may agree to disagree. In following love, through respect of opposing view points one on one with each other, nation to nation, religion to religion, we as a people can give democracy to ourselves and each other. When not respecting each other's choice to be any different than ourselves, we deny the innate freedom to believe and to strive in our own paths, negating what America stands for. In giving one may receive. Love is peaceful and never violent. Differences and freedom of choice should be respected only when non violent and peaceful. -Copyright Kat 2007, 2008-
What do I love? I love trains, things that glitter, the suns' rays on my skin, the stars in a beautiful dark blue sky, trees silhouette next to the moon (in my line of sight), (ever so much) letters, writing them and receiving them, shoes, singing, dancing, hugging, Bar-B-Q chicken, Chinese food with sweet and sour sauce, Tai food, Tai tea, coffee in the morning, antique dolls, unique dolls, learning about different cultures, reading about science, reading classic literature, being in the library, bookstores, the smell of coffee, the smell of a book, hiking, cats with personality, compliments that are earnest and sincere, rubies-honestly, victorian style costumes and furniture, a rare glass of champagne, creating performance art to my best ability, whenever I can do well enough to not feel the need to criticise myself, phone calls from friends, good china, my Dock Martins, my Pink Converse, the saxaphone, the blues, being able to technically understand how singers are doing what they do when I hear them, God, my cat Blondie, my Mom, my dear freinds, my step sister, achieving a good challenge, the tunes in my head, a few memories, and being alive.

Huge dreams can seem impossible to reach. Find the small dreams. As each one is accomplished, they will pave the way to the bigger dreams.
When one reaches the top, a person can be unhappy still. Because it is ones' life other than success, where happiness is found. Finding joy and fullness in day to day moments, friendships, and family, is something that can be built along the way. Then when one reaches success, they will not find that they are truly empty handed. A full life is where the heart is. It is not in things, status, or money, but in what is underneath all of that. When it is all stripped away, it is what is left. Money can be the icing on the cake. But what really matters is love, truth, friendship with ones own soul, peace inside and out, and where the heart is. Small dreams...

I dream to publish a C.D. within the next year or two (ASAP). Also I'd like to promote accepting the differences of different kinds of people, therefore peace on earth.

I really love MySpace! I read all of my mail with love. I'm sorry if I don't answer all of your comments/letters, or if I take a long time to write back. It's not personal. I am busy writing two books, studying music, putting together a C.D., and trying to create peace. I don't get much free time for myself. But I love to talk to my friends! The best time to catch me is around 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sometimes I will write bulletins or blogs updating what is going on with me and my projects. I cherish you all so much! Thank you! xoxo
