For the first time in their legendary 20+ year career, production team the BOMB SQUAD (Hank Shocklee & Keith Shocklee) are preparing to perform live in concert in anticipation of their upcoming debut project & world tour.
The BOMB SQUAD and their trademark multi-layered, innovative sonic masterpieces have been at the forefront of electronic music production techniques and they have been heralded as one of the most influential production teams in contemporary music history.
The force behind Public Enemy and some of most significant albums of all time, including It Takes A Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back and also Ice Cube’s AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted, albums which regularly rank as two of the greatest and influential recordings of all time in various publications such as Rolling Stone and Spin, the BOMB SQUAD is also credited with creating seminal recordings for a variety of other highly regarded artists such as Madonna, Janet Jackson, Slick Rick, Bell Biv Devoe, LL Cool J, & Run DMC.
After many successful years in the studio, the BOMB SQUAD is now gearing up for their debut solo album this time with Hank Shocklee and Keith Shocklee serving as the front men for an album that will feature a combination of futuristic live electronics, visuals and vocals. Hank Shocklee describes this new venture by saying, “I want to be a hybrid of man and machine as opposed to being a performer that uses machines.”

HANK SHOCKLEE
World-renowned industry leader and producer Hank Shocklee is currently producing several music and film projects including Shocktronica, a multi-layered electronic sci-fi audio/visual project and Rebelution an experiment in dub vibrations. Shocklee also recently contributed his talents to the score and soundtrack of the Ridley Scott Film American Gangster.
Hank Shocklee is the president of new media company, Shocklee Entertainment and of the online Music_Film_Media & Tech creative network Shocklee.com. Best known for his eclectic, innovative production style and for founding the group Public Enemy, Shocklee is behind some of the most significant music and film projects of the last two decades. As a producer, composer and industry executive (former Universal Records Senior Vice President) Shocklee has worked with a wide range of artists including; Mary J. Blige, Anthony Hamilton, Ice Cube, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Peter Gabriel, Slick Rick, Patti LaBelle, K-Ci & JoJo, & Gladys Knight.
Shocklee has garnered a collection of Platinum and Multi-Platinum albums as well as 14 Grammy Nominations and numerous Soul Train Awards. He has also been the recipient of a Sony Innovators Award and an Apex Creative Engineer Award. Shocklee has also been named the Source Magazine’s Producer of the year twice during his career.
KEITH SHOCKLEE
As one of the original members of the infamous production team called the “Bomb Squad” Keith is listed as one of the greatest producers of the rap world, appearing on The Rolling Stone Magazines' "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" with "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back" as well as The Rolling Stone Magazines' "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" with "Bring The Noize" and "Fight The Power".
Keith has produced successful albums for not only Public Enemy but Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Bell Biv DeVoe and Third Bass as well as remixing albums for Janet Jackson, Run DMC, Sinead O'Conner, Peter Gabriel, The Neville Brothers, Paula Abdul and Ziggy Marley just to name a few.
He has also been a part of major motion picture soundtrack success for movies such as Spike Lee's "Do The Right Thing" and "He's Got Game" as well as the all-time favorite "Juice". As well as contributing to the network arena by scoring ad campaigns for "Nike" featuring Charles Barkley and "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" featuring KRS-One.
Keith also produced the “Doctor Dre After Hour Spot” radio show on Power 105 in New York City. There he continued breaking new artists such as Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz.
In continuing the tradition of cultivating new talent, Keith is co-owner of Ground Up Entertainment where he is working on various projects covering all genres of music such as dance, classic rock, new wave jazz and hip-hop for both signed and unsigned artists. Thru Ground Up he has worked with Grammy Nominated artist "Eldar” and Executive Produced Xzibit's "Full Circle” album.
