Royal Jones: A Dear in the Headlights The Royal Mr. Jones is back, and this trip is more polished and sophisticated. The music has taken a massive step up, with killer piano, funky horns, demanding bass, and Motownish female backup vocalists with harmonies to die for. It would be classy enough for the Upper East Side, if Mr. Jones would just put on a tux and behave himself. Fortunately for all of us, he doesn't. (Reviewed by Jennifer Layton) Read this review.

Janice Friedman produced/arranged 'A dear in the Head lights' recorded in late 2007 at EastSide Sound in NYC.This CD features Ms Friedman , Buddy Williams on drums, Leo Traversa bass,Rogerio Boccato on percussion,with William Galison harp and Lily White sax Myoshi and Chevis on back up vocals. all artistes shine big time . 9 of the 11 songs were written by Jones with the various collaborators. The CD also features two covers: Dennis Belfield's 'Smokin' Room' and 'Come What May' by Allee Willis and David Lasley
