SHEVYBOI! Born 1983 into a Family of Five children, Growing up was anything BUT "easy" for Elvens "ShevyBoi" Mortimer. With his Family placed in the Inner city streets of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Coming up was all about making a name for yourself. Making a name that would ring bells when ever someone would mention it! So as a youth, Shevy got put on very quick (Hanging with other Not-so-fortunate families children) He and his Buddies always found them selves getting into trouble.. And as the years past, That little trouble turned into Felony Charges, and minor Jail sentences. Now, a Grown man at the age of 25. Shevy damn near holds his .. AND on one early after-noon (during a Studio session) with some friend; As "Shevy" just tried to play the background. He was ask to try to spit on a Track that the Beatmaker was in the process of making! At first, He Declined the invite to rap on the track; But after a couple of others started doing there thing, Shevy just jumped in and started Rapping!! And from the looks on everyone's Face he knew he was doing Pretty Dammn GOOD! Not yet perfecting his flow, but Good enough for starters. After a few more practice runs, He wrote an Original verse and he made the track. With the track quickly circulating in the streets as a mixtape single, Shevy quickly got recognition for his Rapping skills on the track.. In early 04' when the Mixtape hit the streets for the first time, Everybody went CRAZY!! "STUNTASTIC" spread through the neighborhood like a wild-fire, and soon even became a Household for all teens. The rap scene was a Success for ShevyBoi... And now, after winning every Talent show/and concert near the city or in the city of Fort Lauderdale the only thing left to do is,.. Get A Deal. And thats where the different ego's collided,.. After a few major meetings with some Major name companies in the Game, things were headed no-where. With a new attitude, and a New swagger on his shoulders Shevy decided not to give up so easily; And started his own Rap Group called "Young-Stunnaz" formally known as PMP (Power Money Property)! And just like "Stuntastic," The "YoungStunnaz" started off strong, But just after one of there First shows (and Winning) Ego's became a problem once again. With his mind still on making it in the Music Biz one day, He came up with the plan to do HIS OWN THING. (That way, No OTHER ego's would/or could be involved).. So with his head to the sky, and his mind on a BRIGHT future; Shevy assembled some of the Money he was hustling from the streets to the side, and began buying/and Building his own studio. With the studio finally completed late 07' He also quickly grabbed a close friend/Engineer known as "Sho'Boy" to help Produce, and Feature on the Project. And now, Here we are. 2008, and the Mixtape is completed! And with a controversy name like F.E.D.S., (Fuck Everybody DOPE SELL) And with no signs of Haters, nor other Ego's; Shevy is planning on moving forward, and kicking down the Industries doors. BUT before he just gets on--- He plans on making it known in his city, and Hood; "WHO THE BEST RAPPER IS...... . ..?" Taunting the competition with his signature (aka Name) "Mr.Broward County". Letting everyone know EXACTLY where he stands. And thats at the TOP OF THE HILL.. No questions ask!
