let's bury ourselves and go haunt someone tonight

About Me

for a long time it seemed to me that life was about to begin-real life but there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, a debt to be paid. at last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life. this perspective has helped me to see there is no way to happiness. happiness is the way. so treasure every moment you have and rememebr that time waits for no one. HAPPINESS IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION...[souza] (View some of my art in my Blog entry and hear some of my songs on my music page) My Music i also play bass for my favorite band 1908, check it out 1908 oh and click on this link to learn more about me this pretty much explains it all

My Interests

making music, creating art, hangin out with good people, camping, traveling, partying, writing, thinking, talking, disk golf, ping pong ( I knick named myself "TIGER"), Skating, baseball, dancing (thats right I said dancing!) and pretty much any awesome hobby, i am so down for.

I'd like to meet:

Johnny Cash, A real life ninja, Richie Valens, Nick Drake, 2pac, Kurt Cobain and anyone who will inspire me.

Music:

Well you see for me music reflects life and life is no narrow path. It is a broad overcast of twists and turns, emotions and feelings, and ups and downs. There is no way I will ever limit myself to just one style of music. There is way to much out there new and old to explore and enjoy for anyone to listen to the same style over and over. Open your minds! The top five musical acts that I have been listening to the most recently are, JOHNNY CASH, BAND OF HORSES, THE OLD CANES, BOYS II MEN, and SNOOP DOG. (and just to let all you know, these bands are amazing and when i listen to them they make me feel more than alive. So i highly recomend checking them out)

Movies:

The best movies I have ever seen I watched on the independent film channel when i was just flipping through....but i would say my favorite is "Waking Life"

Books:

I am currently in the middle of reading a book written by David Sedaris called, "Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denim.....and so far it is really good.

Heroes:

Johnny Cash, my grandma and grandpa Keeton and anyone else who lived there lives the way that they wanted to.
