Mandy Savoy has a voice that is not unknown to those in all areas of Eastern Canada. Originally from Saint John, New Brunswick, Mandy quickly had a buzz around her from the very first time she grabbed a microphone at karaoke and sang Madonna’s "Like a Virgin". Once people realized it was Mandy who was singing and it wasn’t just a record playing, conversations literally stopped as people watched and listened in amazement. As she ended the song, the place erupted into applause. She knew from that moment that this was something she would one day pursue.
Mandy sang at any opportunity she could. She became somewhat of a local celebrity, winning a local Idol competition put on at Spy Bar and becoming a regular performer at the nightclub. This was only her first step at mastering her craft which would later lead her to being a contestant at both Saint John Idol and then later Canadian Idol.
In late 2007, Mandy saw the release of "Wrong", her first recording in 4 years. The single attracted the attention of many talented producers, a couple of whom she is currently collaborating with. With the incredible demos that have been submitted to her, Mandy is currently getting ready to start the long process of recording what may end up being her debut album.
