from "Okeefenokee swampies to swankees of las vegas, never dwelt with yankees for fear God wouldn't save us "(just kiddin', I know some Yankees God WOULD SAVE &loves very much ,ha!ha!.....(as do i)).I begin by attempting 2 be amusing ,due 2 fears of judgment.Born a poet & philosillyosofer,I am simply a songwriting(highspirited,dancin'&rhyming)girl.Ran away back in '69 & met a friend who taught me 2 play 2 songs on the guitar."Only Love Can Break Your Heart",Neil Young &"Catch the Wind",Donovan.I Love those songs & fell N luv with the guitar!Returned home long enough2persuade to get my own guitar & then ran away again.Many a tune wuz born sitting off the side of an empty highway as the guitar was my only companion whilst i hitchhiked about (making up songs made me 4get when it was sometimes a tat ,very,scary).Mostly though,i had grand adventures.Dreams of" touching the world "with my songs took a back seat as i became a mother in '79 & had a new calling to fulfill.(My daughter would nly fall2sleep when i sang "AFTER THE GOLDRUSH"from infancy through childhood).Throughout my life & especially,when at my lowest, a guitar has alwaze been my refuge,my escape,my friend & such a faithful source of inspirations & solace. Now,these last few years I've been seeing so many dear friends leave this world ,I'm having 2 face facts ,REACH OUT &TOUCH while you can4 tomorrow may not come. so ....here I am WITH OPEN HEART & i wish all much love & peace & hope to touch your Spirits with my songs & thoughts,my Spirit.......oh, & most importantly!!!,I wish you all faith in your dreamz...........luv,T/L
