Lenny Campbell has been a singer songwriter for over four decades. He began teaching himself the guitar at age 10, sitting in the back yard of his folk's Hayward California home. It was then he realized, that music would become a permanent passion in his life and his guitar would become his best friend. Lenny had an early ear for song writing, arrangement and producing. He grew up in the midst of the late 60s and early 70s folk/pop era with such influences from Cat Stevens, James Taylor, The Eagles, Gordon Lightfoot and Jim Croce. His music also includes major influences from his favorite artists, Dan Fogelberg and Justin Hayward (Moody Blues).Always a solo act, Lenny stayed true to himself and his music. Lenny continues to entertain audiences with his acoustic blend of songs that have touched the hearts of many of his fans.Over the years Lenny has performed for thousands of people and recorded hundreds of songs including four contemporary gospel albums in the 1980s. Now a record label owner (Aspenglo Records), Lenny has produced projects for many artists including his daughter Jennifer Campbell's "Shake My World" CD and a CD for the group Make Believe. The most exciting news is, Lenny has released his latest CD (SONGS FROM MOON SHADOW) now available on Aspenglo Records. The CD is filled with ten new songs that will take you back to a time of innocence. "This is a project for the hopeless romantics of this world."
