About Me

"What's up MYSPACE?! First and foremost, thank you for stopping by and listening to my music. Much love and appreciation. Here's my story. My family is from Seoul, South Korea, but I was born and raised in the Mile High City, Denver, CO. Music has always played a big part in my life. Even as an toddler, I was always found taking the remote control and pretending that it was a mic. One night, at the age of fifteen or so, I witnessed a couple of good friends busting some flows and receiving admiration at a party and I thought I would try freestyling. Why not? Weeks later, my buddies and I were coming home from a party, all smashed, and I decided to bring up the idea of having a 'flow' session. Everyone in the car agreed, and needless to say, the rhymes were pretty awful, but we all had a blast and a shit ton of laughs. From that point on, I knew I wanted to be a MC, because I loved rhyming, simple as that. Rhyming came naturally to me, and eventually I built a reputation for being a 'sick' freestyler. I was always looking for new sources of inspiration and was constantly putting my friends onto new music. As more time passed, I worked on creating my own style of rhyming, that had been shaped by a plethora of artists, not just limited to hip-hop and rap. I believe this diversity of musical inspiration has allowed me to express myself with a certain humor, creativity, and most importantly, versatility, that other MC's can't. Now, at the age of 25, I'm trying to figure out what it is I want to do with my music. One thing I do know is that I'm always striving to be better, and to learn as much as I can from the best. I'm very thankful for the many blessings and for all the love and support I have received throughout the years. I owe everything to God, my family, and all of my friends. Without them, I would be nothing." -Way C. MySpace Layouts
