I started doing the DJ thing when I was about 13. Somewhere along the line I knew if I could get my hands on some equipment I could make some crazy ass beats. Being a DJ you pick up on sounds and learn what makes people move. I kept that idea in my head, but I didn’t act on it until a few years later. I started going to the studio with my dude Skryptrs just to kill time. After a while I started making beats, bought some equipment, and set up shop in his studio. After a while me Skrypt asked me if I wanted to put things together and see what happens. I agreed and over the next year we slept in the studio writing, recording, and making beats daily . We got up brushed our teeth, got some coffee, smoked a few Newports, and got to work. We grinded our asses off that first year and damn near killed each other several times. It was worth it though, because we laid down a foundation together. We started the basic imprint for Sik Cat Entertainment in one year. Hard work pays off. This is the pay off. Sik Cat.
