World of the Unexplained

About Me

Hosts:J. Scott, a graduate of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina, first became interested in the paranormal as a child. This interest led him to start a radio show in college dubbed “J. Scott’s World of the Unexplained.” Airing in 2002, the show became an instant local success on the college’s FM station, 90.9 WQFS. The show focused on such issues as vampires, ghosts, werewolves, UFOs, space travel conspiracies, and others. Some of J. Scott’s previous guests have included Lorraine Warren, of Amityville Horror fame and Fordham Professor, Michael Cuneo speaking about his book on exorcism. After college, J. Scott decided that law school was the path for him to take and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. He will graduate with his Juris Doctor in December 2005. While finishing his last semester of law school, the idea of internet radio came to him while at a friend’s house listening to music. He decided that this new forum was just the fix for his long lost and defunct paranormal radio show. The idea of running the show appealed to him even more after one of his childhood friends, Trent Lackey, agreed to co-host the new show. The first broadcast will premiere on Monday, December 26, 2005. J. Scott is also the lead vocalist for the rock group Blackbook Romance.;Trent Lackey is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and has also kept a keen interest in the paranormal since his early years. He has had the chance to see many unexplained events and has researched the paranormal extensively. Some of his favorite topics are ghosts and cryptozoology. Trent also plays in a rock group in North Carolina.
