Pedro Rodriguez is a talented jazz guitarist whoose style is rooted in the blues, but has been influenced as well by everything from The Beatles to Duke Ellington to music of his native Chile. He has performed around the world, including at the International Jazz Featival in Barcelona, Spain, where he also collaborted on several recordings with Spanish musicians. In 2005, he recorded an album called "Dead Man Plays Dead Man," for the El Perseguidor label in Santiago. In addition to performing, Pedro has a proven track record of teaching guitar, jazz improvisation, and music theory. In 2007 he moved to New York with his wife to study jazz performance at the highly acclaimed Jazz Studies Program at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
