Four After Dark represents a collaborative effort of three musicians bringing their best to the table. All three members take on the roles of bandleader, soloist, and songcrafter, each bringing their strengths to the forefront.
Kevin Cato's multiple saxophones prove their chops but also bring in a special, vocal contribution to the quartet. Smooth sounds and brash attacks come from Matteo Parente's guitar in bursts one-part Harrison Ford, one-part Hugh Grant. Grinding lows and growling kicks are part of David Aaron Carter's goal to keep it all locked in, and keep it all funky.
Seperately, the band has played all over the city and racked up more than a couple of miles. Four After Dark exists for the sole reasons of playing music that makes people groove, dance, and want stay to for another pint.
