The Vibes Amp.

Hello my friends! Here they are a couple of things you should know about me and this site. First of all, what about the name? what does "vibes amp." mean? Once, when I was a bit younger, a friend of mine told me that to him marijuana was a great feeling enlarger. Whatever you feel it will be amplified by the joints. For me, this concept belongs to music too. When I was about 17, I had a couple of drags from a terrific bad orange joint, and when I came home, the only thing to do was to drop on my bed, 'cause I was not able to do anything else but rest and listen to some nice music... Then I had a mystic trip into the Red Hot Chili Peppers vibes and got lost in it...When I got over the shock, the Chili Peppers began to be my favourite band ever and I recognized that I've been under a great Vibrations Amplifier, or "Vibes Amp.". And now, something about me... my first name is Erasmo, like the philosopher from Rotterdam, and I started play the guitar when I was 10. From then I played with a lot of friends in many different bands, but I never really got into one of them. I always loved to write and play my own music, and I dedicated myself to this most of the past 5- 6 years without any good reply. At the beginning a couple of friends tried to help me in this way, Dave, an old and one of my best school friends, and a couple of drummers, Luis and Fab, which is a "Starframes" too. But this project failed a couple of years ago and I thought that music and songwriting was not a part of my life. I still think so, but in these 2 years I continued to write songs, so the past winter I decided to try again, and try it well. I was not and I'm still not in the mood to find other musicians to play my music, so with my saved money, I decided to do everything by myself, drums, bass, voice and guitars and record my very first demo...
