Johs Alme was very active as a musician and in the music culture back in the 80’s. He was a singer, bassplayer and songwriter in several bands and projects, and was also one of the founders and the manager for a rock club. He started to play accordion at the age of 8, and has sung “all his lifeâ€, but it started to be more serious when he started to play the bass and guitar, in his late teens. In 1987 he was a participator in a Norwegian songcontest, "Talent-87". Later he also started to play keyboards, and had some one-man gigs. He have played all kinds of music; pop, rock, funk, heavyrock, blues, jazz, standard, and folk music. He has also given some playing lessons. Now days he is managing a private Scandinavian music resource site: www.musikkroken.net , which has been recommended by the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research.
After a long break for some years, he’s now “back in business†and have started to make his own music, and have plans for CD. His first demo's is now released on this page, and on this tracks he do all the vocals and plays all the instruments himself. Later, hopefully, other musicians will support him on the CD :-)
