About Me

Hey guys, a bit about me...I'm from Wakefield home of the Wildcats, rhubarb and Chanelle from BigBro 8. I've been writing songs now for about 10 years and I still seem to have something left to say about love! My influences I feel are pretty obvious to anyone but to name a few; Stevie Wonder, India Arie, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Robin Thicke, Ray Charles and many more...I went to the Sir Paul McCartney inspired Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) to study music, home to some people you may know like The Wombats and Sandi Thom and obviously some very talented lesser known artists which you can find within my friends below. Now I have quickly returned to student-dom to study for an MA in Songwriting at Bath Spa University which finishes in September this year just because I want to be the youngest ever Song-Master in the universe...and maybe learn something more about the craft of songwriting in the process. In November 2006, I won the MBF National Songwriting Award which The Wombats won the year prior to me and a fellow Bath Spa student won this year.My other sites have examples of my other songs but this site is simply for my soul music which I love love love to write, play and sing. You'll be able to find me gigging in London from September onwards! Thanks for taking an interest in my life!! Hope it was worth the read...
